SMBC participates in Keep Manatee Beautiful thru the Adopt-A-Road program. We have adopted 1.9 miles of Whitfield Avenue between Lockwood Ridge Road and University Parkway. We have 4 clean ups a year in Feb, May, Aug and Nov.
The dates are listed on the SMBC calendar. An email requesting volunteers is sent out a few weeks before each clean up and the details are sent out a few days before each clean up.
