Annual Ride of Silence - 2025

Tomorrow evening at 7pm is the Annual Ride of Silence for Manatee and Sarasota Counties. The ride is a solemn, slow-paced ride to honor those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roads. This silent procession serves as a powerful reminder to motorists, law enforcement, and the community at large to share the road, respect cyclists, and advocate for safer streets. We invite the community, all Manatee and Sarasota-area bike shops and riders to participate, support, and help spread the message of remembrance, unity, and the urgent need for road safety awareness. The Sarasota Police Department will escort the group through the City of Sarasota for a 6-mile ride.


We will meet at the Robarts Arena in Sarasota (3000 Ringling Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34237), in the southwest parking lot at 6:30pm. Please reach out with questions or comments. We hope to see you there.
